Consultation
During a first consultation , a complete oral examination will determine whether implantology meets your needs.
Generally, only people suffering from an uncontrolled disease, a chronicpsychological problem or a serious handicap are unable to receive implantology. A supplementary medical examinations may be necessary. It goes without saying that pregnant women must postpone this treatment to a more appropriate time.
If one or more of your teeth are missing and you are in good health , you should be able to benefit from dental implants.
X-rays of your jaws will reveal whether the bone mass, depending on its quality and density, can receive implants. In case a major resorption is considerably reducing the remaining bone mass, another type of X-ray, call a CT scan, may prove necessary. At that time the dental implant system most suitable for your needs may be chosen, and the stages of treatment amy be scheduled cooperatively.
